What you should take with you for a beach holiday

Compared with a gourmet food and wine vacation, holiday travel, or even camping holidays, beach holidays are so easy ... especially in Port Macquarie! Hardly any clothes to pack, no posts to fix, just duck back your Port Macquarie hotel for lunch instead of dragging the gas stove and cut all their own veges. However, Beach is not without its own special characteristics which may make it an uncomfortable place to visit if you have not prepared properly. Today we went through what to pack if you are taking a vacation on the beach at Port Macquarie.

Be Sun Smart

The Australians have the highest incidence of skin cancer in the world - a combination of an outdoor life, a depleted ozone layer and latitude many of our great cities are in the sense that it combines one of every two Australians will be diagnosed with skin cancer in their lifetime. To help reduce the incidence, and to be healthier in 50% of the population, be sure to bring:

• Sunscreen - SPF 30 + is the new standard
• Light shirts and skirts for covering when not in water
• A wide-brimmed hat

• A long sleeve rash vest if you spend long periods of time diving and swimming

Clothing

• A kite
• Plastic bags
• A blanket beach
• Food! The most beautiful beaches are always those who do not have a hot dog van in sight. I do not want to go all the way back to your hotel Port Macquarie to get something to eat.
