Bermuda Beauty, History and Top 10-Beaches
One of the most beautiful places in the world is in the Atlantic Ocean, east of Charleston, SC South. The island of Bermuda is surrounded by deep blue waters and surrounded by pink sand beaches. It is lined with pastel-colored buildings, old churches and historic buildings. The island has lush vegetation, including palms and casuarina trees and plants, hibiscus and poinsettia.
Bermuda has a definite English accent. It was a self-governing British colony since 1864. Although the movements for independence have appeared on several occasions, Bermuda maintains strong links with the British the continent, and it seems unlikely that independence will never become a reality.
Bermuda has some of the most beautiful beaches in the world, 34 of them in total. Our top 10 are:
Horseshoe Bay is the most popular and is defined by a strip of pink sand crescent. In general, crowded and sometimes filled to the gills. It offers a wide range of services not found on other beaches of the island, including a lifeguard from May to September.
Elbow Beach is an extension along the miles of pink sand and is also very popular. Although the eastern half is reserved for guests of Elbow Beach Hotel, the western section is one of the safest beaches for swimming due to the protection of coral reefs surrounding it.
Warwick Long Bay is half miles in Warwick Parish beach known for its picturesque coral formation that rises above the water. Its backdrop is the scrub grass. The relative isolation Warwick Long Bay attracts joggers, walkers and riders. The coral reef keeps the waters calm.
Astwood Cove is situated on the cliffs Warwick Parish steep. It has fine sand and is ideal for snorkeling. Related Astwood Park is a good place to picnic and hike. Narrow trails thread the cliff-tops, approaching nature.
Church Bay, with its pink sand beaches of unusually deep, is a primordial sun, but also a excellent place to snorkel. Their potboilers the reefs, rocks sticking up above the waves, are near the shore. The result is a habitat for a variety marine life.
Chaplin Bay is one of the most picturesque beaches in Bermuda when she is there, as it almost disappears during the trip high. It straddles the border of two parishes, Warwick and Southampton. An outdoor rose coral reef waters, separating a part of the middle of the beach another.
John Smith's Bay was named by U.S. Gov. Jamestown settlement. It is the only public beach in the parish of Smith. Long and flat, with pale pink sand typical southern coast. John Smith's Bay has a lifeguard in the summer, and a basic toilet and shower rooms.
Shelly Bay Beach, also on the south coast is a place for children to use and has all necessary amenities for a family day at the beach. Is shallow, the blue-green tropical waters, sand mixed with seashells and a bunch of little toys for rent. You can rent a locker, an umbrella, snorkels, beach clothes and sailboat. The park has swings, slides and plenty of climbing structures, and the Shelly Bay Beach House sells food and beverages.
Snuff Park Bay is a popular place for the whole family and offers all the amenities necessary to enjoy the beach or water. Source snuff Bay dating back to 1775 when the islanders met for loading powder into U.S. ships during the War of Independence. focal point is the snuff Bay Park Beach Pavilion, where you can rent chairs, umbrellas or snorkeling gear, and purchase food and refreshments. The Pavilion also houses the changing rooms and bathrooms.
Somerset Long Bay Sandys Parish is an isolated place, which attracts relatively few visitors, especially during the week. The water is shallow, leaving the pool more or less to the children and chasing most of the swimmers to other beaches. However, Somerset Bay is a great place for a picnic, a long walk or just get away from everything.
