Sand and Surf: Hawaii goes to the TV Movies

There's nothing like a good beach scene to add an extra touch to any movie. Here a look at some of the greatest of all time cutscenes beach off the coast of Oahu to the rocky coast sensual Scandinavian to the pristine white sands of Phuket. You can get most of these movies in HD on satellite TV.

The Seventh Seal: This Meisterstück by legendary filmmaker Ingmar Bergman chess features in the iconic beach scene with Max von Sydow. The actor portrays a medieval knight who happens after death in a cold northern beach. The two have a sit down and start a game of chess. Sydow is playing for his life. This is far from the scene of the classic movie beach where you girls got dressed skimpy rags sipping umbrella drinks play Hawaii, but it's an unforgettable scene, a must for all movie fans.

And God created Women: Brigitte Bardot at its finest it, need I say more? Only 21 in this film by Roger Vadim, the French sex symbol made this movie. Reproduction of a strong and well-proportioned girl roaming around the beaches of St. Tropez, Bardot, fascinated millions of viewers.

Beach Blanket Bingo: Any beach movie list would not be the same without Annette Funicello and Frankie Avalon, once teen idols of the film era beach. In this fourth installment, we have motorcycle gangs, a siren and even Buster Keaton makes a brief cameo. You can view all Funicello and Avalon beach movies oldies courtesy TV channels satellite.

Blue Hawaii: Elvis, tanned and buff, stars in this film. Blue Hawaii is actually the first of three movies in Hawaii, and some could say it's better Presley. In the film, the King plays a fun-loving GI who just wants to get some sun and surf.

Splash: Hanks Tom falls off a boat and lands on a sandy beach. He encounters a mermaid played by Daryl Hannah. This is the beginning of a fun little romantic adventure directed by Ron Howard. As for beach movies go, you can not get much better than sirens and Tom Hanks.

The Big Lebowski: The Dude, played to perfection Jeff Bridges reported from the ashes of his friend in the great Pacific Ocean. There are shots of the sea and you can not forget the accompanying praise, nor can forget the part where the ashes to fly again proceed in the face Dude. This is the classic Coen Brothers film, not to be missed, but are often transmitted in Satellite TV, see your ads.

The Beach: Leo DiCaprio and his two French companions find a beach paradise unscathed, away from crowds maddening tourist in Phuket. The place is beautiful, really impressive (which requires the film to be seen in anything less than HD) and also deadly. The things Paradise is not what they seem.

The Talented Mr. Ripley: Italian perfect backdrop Minghella is impressive. The amazing deep blue ocean, the sun and Jude Law and Gwyneth Paltrow play the couple Dickie deliciously rich, spoiled and Marge makes this film a real visual delight.
