Madvi-Beach for travelers

Mandvi beach is the only private beach in India, the property extends to the waterline
Two and a half miles of beach just for you. A waiter at the restaurant moves slowly through the sand, taking fodder. Long pool chairs under a thatched umbrella. Waves in a romp meters. A very specific kind of breeze coming from the west. A guy could get used to this.
It sits amid 450 acres of forest slightly tame up the backyard of Vijay Vilas, the summer retreat of the former rulers of Mandvi. When viewing tent stations in tourist areas, you decide that tents were better sense to start with, the evaluators as built structures, which require much paperwork.

There is accommodation for 10 guests in pairs the moment, which gives a comfortable beach 200 meters maximum occupancy per couple in a relationship I've only seen on a beach in Goa and another closer to home. (And no, I'm not saying that when any of them are.) Since it is a five-mile drive to Mandvi, which in turn is many miles away from the rest the world is not going to get the levels from the madding crowd Anjuna in the short term.
The camp consists of 10 tents in a clearing, each with capacity for two, one sand dune and a line of bushes and trees that separates them from the beach and protect them from the worst of the weather. Each is in its concrete pedestal own, just sitting in the front, with a pair of camel leather seedy loungers. We reminds you of the real expedition tents of yesteryear: wavy edges, carved finials above the poles store, entrance canopy. One looks around for automatically horsemen returning from shikar or a battle.
One objection: Given the vast extent available, are a bit exaggerated because close to each other, with the support of neighboring shops strings overlap. Given canvas walls, perhaps the place is noisy when full.
The tents are three layers, a sweet shop lined interior rather than a thick outside, and especially a weatherproof roof. Maintain rainout very well, and the lack of natural ventilation is more than compensated with a high-power air conditioning.
In the Inside, coconut matting floor, two beds, bedside tables with a small storage space, carved wooden chairs and a desk. The chairs are nice-looking; Lighting is a couple of lights by the beds. In the back, behind the lid, a big enough title, bathroom walls, ceiling extension you shop. Electricity and water are in 24 hours.
Meals are delivered to your store, or you can wander the thatched restaurant overlooking the beach. The restaurant aims serve India, Continental and Chinese, and local specialties.
In general, the place is a disservice to himself with his brand: he is called to a camp on the beach Luxury which raises expectations too. It is, without doubt, very comfortable, (ACS and proper plumbing shop, Woohoo!) And gives a fair value for their money, rejected Luxury complaint and take the place of what is, and has a pretty unique game.
The service is excellent, friendly, attentive, and willing to address deficiencies personal preferences, quick to recognize and compensate. And location, location.
Topic: A waiter takes the long walk from the restaurant with a tray tea and toast, waving to you while you wallow in the tide pool of warm blood that they have discovered, waiting patiently for you to come back and dried to provide to pour a cup for you. As along as the Maharao Mandvi and his family use their property as they have done so far, his little piece of paradise is likely to remain impeccable.

WHEN TO GO
Gujarat gets some extreme dose of monsoons and that, while the place is incredibly beautiful and pleasant in the rain, which could end if he succumbs transport chain to the weather. And, although the water deepens very little by little, the current is strong, and water, chopped and brown, the summer is too extreme, "they are 40 in the day, high season from December to March, When Westerners come in search of sun. The water is calm and blue for the management of time, he says, and the photographs I have seen l'agree and it's great. In fact in almost December temperatures can go as low as 7C in order to make thick pajamas.
