If you are looking for miles of white sandy beaches, a small rustic inn on the beach but with all the luxury amenities you need, plus you have to be in the Caribbean, and should not be the mass market, then look no further than Turtle Inn in Belize. The Turtle Inn offers privacy and convenience. The palm-thatched cottages, a beach house and a bar and a restaurant up the complex, and there are never more than thirty people in a point

Location

Turtle Inn is on the southern coast of Belize, north of the Creole fishing village of Placencia, which is located at the southern end of a narrow peninsula 15 miles in the district of Stann Creek. Separated from the mainland and the Maya Mountains by a pretty lake, miles of white sandy beach is considered the best side in Belize, to the east along Keys coral reefs and spectacular.

Directions

Belize is less than two hours by plane from Houston, New Orleans and Miami.

The Sofia, a private island plane to take you to the city of Belize Turtle Inn in less than an hour. Buses and commercial airlines also fly between Belize City and Placencia

Accommodation

Turtle Inn is a small, intimate hotel in a big beach.

There are 18 bungalows, all with the beach, which was built in the traditional style of Bali thatched huts, with large controlled decks, large living spaces, and ornate carved doors. Created by indigenous Maya that provide the exact amount of tropical environment. Each one is rustic and comfortable with a private bathroom with hot water, 110 volt electricity, ceiling fans and tropical wood interiors, with hammocks on the balconies. The two bedroom fully equipped beach house is ideal for honeymooners, couples and families wanting a little more independence.

Food

There are two dining options.
